Location & Occasion Shoots
Outdoor sessions are great for capturing images of lively children at their best, I like to keep them active in a fun outdoor family photography session. We will spend our time exploring and photographing your family and I try not to say “Cheese” – when the kids are having fun then we get the real and natural smiles. You can choose a place that is special to you or I can suggest local locations.
You can expect a very relaxed and informal session where we will work together to produce a series of natural-looking images of you and your family. Whilst I suggest ideas of images and set you and your family into comfortable semi-poses, I will also shoot images as they happen and especially candid images that you probably won't even know have been taken! Also feel free to bring along your dog.
Having a party or a family get together? What better way to capture the occasion than with some professional images. It's not everyday that all of the family can be in the same place. I can hang out in the background and capture the candid moments or we can get some timeless family group photos.
These shoots starts from £160 depending on location and include 3 high resolution digital images via download.
The session will take approximately 30 minutes.
You will be provided with a password protected online gallery of approximately 25 images where you can view your images and purchase any extras from £15 per image. If you would like all of the digital images I could do a package from £240 (location dependent) which includes the images and the shoot.

What to wear to your outdoor family photoshoot
Choosing the right outfits can make a huge difference to the overall look and feel of your photographs. The aim is to compliment the beautiful outdoor surroundings while keeping the focus on you and your family.
Soft neutral colours always photograph beautifully. Think creams, whites, beige, oatmeal, soft browns, sage green, dusty blue, blush pink and muted earthy tones. These colours work perfectly in every season and create timeless images you'll love for years to come.
Rather than eveyone wearing the exact same outfit, choose colours that compliment each other. Mixing tones and textures creates a more stylish, natural look.
Bold logos, character clothing and very busy prints can distract from your faces.
Choose outfits that everyone feels comfortable and confident wearing. If children are comfortable they're much more likely to relax, play and enjoy the session .
Don't worry about being perfectly posed or having perfectly coordinated outfits. My goal is to capture genuine smiles, cuddles and laughter.
